While you have the usual basketball and tennis games, Nintendo has recognized the need for newer and more innovative games. Some have gotten quite sick and tired of the usual stuff, which probably explains the popularity of Guitar Hero. It’s new, unique, and most of all, fun. For the newer list on the menu, just dive in and land on Wuhu Island.

You have games like Air Sports and Power Cruising that have Pilot wings and Wave Race 64 that fill fans with nostalgia-fuelled excitement. For Air Sports, you are given the chance to control the planes by holding the remote as if it were the actual toy. Just use your hands to maneuver your way through the clouds as you avoid the challenges right in front of you. In this game, you just have to fly over Wuhu Island as you collect info markers placed in awkward positions near landmarks. Some have been so strategically hidden that you have to fly over the island’s volcano just to get it. Or, you can face another player in a form of a dogfight as you try to defeat each other out of the sky. Brings paper flying to a whole new level, doesn’t it?

Then, there’s Power Cruising. Race and slalom through courses while holding the Remote and Nunchuk like the handlebars of a jet-ski. It’s a cool and impressive water game with physics applied to it, much like Wave Race. From planes, to boats, to treks through the jungle, it’s a new and novel experience!
