Nintendo announced back at the 2008 Electronic Entertainment Expo the production of the MotionPlus
and accompanying game Wii Sports Resort. Both promised a much improved remote sensitivity and near 1:1 tracking between the player’s movements and the action you’ll see on TV. Come June 2009, The Wii MotionPlus was finally released.
The Sports Resort followed shortly and served the better version of the Wii Sports. It has gotten raving reviews from its different users. In fact, Nintendo’s flagship summer title, Wii Sports Resort, has gotten off to a strong start. In fact, the Famitsu magazine of Japan said that it sold 353,827 copies in its first four days. This could probably be considered one of the most successful launches in history.
Those who want to enjoy the experience even more will need to buy the extra Motion Plus unit. This tiny gadget that will be attached to the controller makes the movement more precise. You can now see your moves replicated on TV in real time and in such impressive accuracy.
The Wii Sports Resort is definitely filled with genuinely fun moments. For the Wii owner, the mini game collection provides instant access and quick thrills.
